Even after meeting designer after designer and hopping from one salon to another, the to-do list remains the same no matter how much you try to sort it out. Make A List

Yes, you know that a list needs to be made, it is obvious and simple. But have you considered writing everything, literally everything, that you must buy? From the items like Mehndi props, the number and types of outfits you want to buy, to the must-have jewelry; include all the items you can think of in your list. You can further break it down into categories like, Gifts for in-laws, Your Accessories, your major event outfits, Mehndi décor items & shadi stuff (let’s say, a decorative glass for Doodh pilai, maybe?), and Thank you favors etc. You can have a miscellaneous section where you can list all the remaining items and things that you are unsure of.

One of the biggest benefits of hiring a wedding planner is that he or she helps you make a financial strategy. It all comes down to the budget to make your wedding successful. It might seem like you will be spending extra, but your planner is the one who helps you save a lot by distributing the right budge at the right places. You will be saving in a long run. The list will of course be the estimate, as you can never be sure about the clothes you are going to buy and the makeup items that you will end up hoarding. Make The Appointments

Truth be told, before you choose one designer or multiple for your wedding events, make appointments with all those you like. The more, the better! It all comes down to your choice and time but is always better to look around before deciding. Therefore, it is mandatory that you shortlist the designers, salons or wedding planners you want to meet, beforehand. Set up appointments with them in advance, so you don’t have to do everything haphazardly or miss out on anyone in the end.

Make A Calendar

Finally, once you have planned everything and have made the appointments, now is the time to organize. Making a calendar, be it on paper or Word, will help you align all your activities and priorities. Put all your appointments under that specific date, so you are prepared in advance.
